Avalon Ag provides all farm fieldworker safety trainings required by California state law along with farm and food safety consulting services and audits to bring your farm up to the highest standards.
Founded in 2024, Avalon Ag comes to the California agriculture community from years of off-grid sustainable agriculture and small commercial farming. Having started as a farm worker on an organic tomato farm outside of Austin, Texas, Jonathan Avalon then started a small family farm in the high desert of north eastern Arizona where, while raising Alpacas, he produced not only 85% of his family's food supply but also enough to sell successfully at the local farmer's market.
Over the years the passion for growing food grew from a desire to simply feed his family and the small local community to a desire to feed the world. Well, at least the local area and now that area is Sonoma County here in California.
While working on small organic farms, Jonathan Avalon has become certified to offer a wide range of farm and food safety services and solutions to agricultural businesses in and around the Sonoma County area and all throughout California.
